all of this is assuming that sony are not aware... a major security breach of this kind wont be glaced over. serious work will go in to preventing/blocking this hack. at the end of the day ur dealing with the people who build the system, granted ther are some gifted people out there but its more than 2 months away from being a break thru.
ps3 is 3 years in to its cycle its gonna be safe for years more because of the very valid point showtime made. New games are taking up more and more space and not every1 has the technical know how that recon mite have.< i dont have technical knowledge really. i can just understand and follow instructions. |

id expect a homebrew launcher that runs in otheros while using ps3s full capabilities soon (rather then the limited access otheros usually has) |

think same style as psp homebrew loader. with the power of the ps3, a n64 ps1 maybe even ps2/gamecube emulator could be achievable plus different apps. a fully functional web browser, a better media player. all sorts could happen. |
