Nah, looks like he's butchered it. Bumblebee as a Camaro, Megatron as an Alien ship?Huh? No Soundwave. Another special effect heavy flop on the way, methinks. Good that Peter Cullen is doing the voice of Prime (as he did in the cartoon) but shame Frank Welker isnt doing Megatron. They've got Hugo Weaving instead, yet Frank is voicing the game. Weird.

Who's seen Dreamgirls???
Trailer

I think the real question should be who hasnt. AWESOME film. Saw a screener, then went to the Cinema purely cos the songs need to be seen and heard on the big screen and now Ive got a rip of it and watch its regular-like.  Embarrassed

Could be said that its one for the girls but I love big numbers and the guys I went to the flicks with loved it.

Anyway the award winning part is when Jennifer Hudson sings "And I'm Telling You". She got the oscar for it and its a stunning scene. I'll set the scene. This clip starts just before the actual song. Effie White (Jen) has been let go from the Dreamgirls by her manager (Jamie Foxx) cos she's got the hump that she's not the lead singer anymore and she thinks he's been cleeping with Beyonce? (Hey who wouldnt)

She's become obnoxious, late and bad tempered. Theres a good reason, which I wont spoil. So anyway, she turns up for a rehersal one day to find a new singer in the Dreams. So they have a round robin kinda song followed by Jen Singin "Your Gonna Love Me (And Im telling you), which blew the roof off the Odeon I was in at the time. And yes, I know the words. lol.

Enjoy.  Grin

And for comedic effect here's a class Eddie Murphy bit from the same film.
Basically sick and tired of singing boring songs he halts the ballad he's singing and does a tribute for Foxx that end rather humourously.

Oh Hell, watch this too...The Dreams first gig with Mr James 'Thunder' Early (Murphy)

Mallrats Trailer

Chasing Amy Trailer

Dogma Trailer

Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back Trailer

And the next move after Jay & Bob was his first foray outside the Askewniverse. No Jay and Bob type antics. It was a touchy feeley movie but good none the less. U get to see JLo die so it cant be all bad!
